Testimony PF Cover Final sm.jpg

Testimony is more than a re-release. It is a grounding point.

A body of work that honors where the journey began while standing fully in who it was always meant to be.

What once existed in a different space now lives in alignment. Not rewritten. Not repackaged. Just revealed… clearly, confidently, and without compromise.

Rooted in vulnerability, resilience, and reflection, Testimony carries the emotional weight of a story that never needed embellishment. Only truth. Every record holds intention. Every moment is placed with purpose. This is not about revisiting the past. It is about recognizing it for what it has always been.

At its core is honesty… expressed in more ways than one.

His Truth holds a history that reaches back further than the album itself. Originally performed as part of a high school gospel choir recording, it was one of the first moments where his voice was allowed to rise… to lead… to be seen. What felt like a glimpse of something bigger came at a time when life was quietly shifting underneath him. While the music was moving forward, something else was taking root. Something that would change the course of everything.

Now, years later, that same moment is reclaimed. Not as nostalgia, but as perspective. As survival. As truth that refused to be silenced.

#EndTheStigma speaks plainly, without shame or filter.
I Need Thee leans into faith as necessity, not performance.
Love and Fairytales softens the space, reminding us that vulnerability can still feel like warmth.

Miss You Most captures longing with restraint and tenderness, choosing reflection over spectacle. Its acapella counterpart removes everything but the truth, letting emotion stand on its own without distraction.

The Gospel According to Preston strips everything back to voice and spirit, revealing a quiet authority rooted in faith, identity, and self-trust. It is not performance. It is presence.

Testimony stands as both a closing and a beginning. A moment where past and present meet without conflict. Where the artist is no longer searching for his voice, but standing firmly in it.

This is not an album to revisit.

It is a reference point.

A reminder that before evolution, there is truth.
Before expansion, there is stillness.
And before everything that comes next…

there is Testimony.

Testimony is out now.

What once existed as earlier versions now lives as archive. Vintage. A timestamp of where I was… not where I stand.

This version is the truth, fully realized.

I couldn’t have done this without the people who poured into me along the way. This moment belongs to all of us. What we created here is just the beginning of what’s still to come.

A special thank you to Tedde Gibson. What started as mentorship has grown into something deeper. He’s been a quiet force behind this music… arranging, playing, shaping sound, and helping me step fully into mine. At this point, he’s not just part of the process… he’s part of the foundation.

Special thanks to Qamil “SoulDope” Wright, the Fairy Godmother of R&B Soul in Columbus. You saw something in me early and gave me space to grow into it. The opportunities you created pushed me to step out on faith… and that changed everything.

To my husband and my mother… thank you for believing in me, for covering me, and for reminding me to keep going when I needed it most.

One of the most meaningful moments on this album is Character Witness.

I built that record around voicemail messages from my parents because I wanted something permanent… something I could always return to. When I created it, I knew my father’s time was limited. I just didn’t know it would be that close.

What I also couldn’t have prepared for was losing my friend and fraternity brother, Jason… someone who held me down during one of the hardest seasons of my life. He passed just days before my father.

By grace, I had a voicemail from him too.

So that record isn’t just a song.

It’s presence.
It’s memory.
It’s love that still speaks.

To every voice that lives in that track… I love you. Always.

And to everyone who pressed play today…

Thank you.

Thank you for seeing me.
Thank you for hearing me.
And thank you for receiving Testimony in real time.

This isn’t a throwback.

This is alignment.

TESTIMONY is here.

Who Is Preston France

Singer. Dreamer. Songwriter. Creative. Photogenic Crooner

Preston France is an R&B singer and songwriter whose sound is shaped by gospel roots and smooth jazz sensibility. His music carries warmth, restraint, and emotional clarity, drawing listeners into stories that feel personal while remaining deeply relatable.

Born Preston Kindred in Washington, D.C., his love for music began at home, surrounded by his parents’ diverse music collection. That early foundation shaped his ear for soul, storytelling, and intention. He continued to nurture his artistry at Bowie State University, where his creative voice began to take form and demand space away from the organized choral space.

His vocal style reflects a deep respect for emotional integrity and musical discipline, inspired by artists like Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Lalah Hathaway, PJ Morton, Jazmine Sullivan, and Tank. Their influence shows up not in imitation, but in his control, phrasing, and ability to say more by doing less.

Originally creating under the name Kindred Williams, he introduced audiences to a sound rooted in lived experience through his debut body of work, Testimony. That foundation remains. But the voice behind it has evolved.

Now, as Preston France, he steps forward in full alignment.

This is not a reinvention. It’s a return. A reclamation of identity, artistry, and intention. The music remains honest. The storytelling remains intentional. But the perspective is clearer, the presence is stronger, and the voice is fully his own.

Through every performance and recording, Preston France invites listeners into a space of reflection, connection, and truth. Not just to hear the music, but to feel it… and to see themselves inside it.

Finally Kindred
